Noise abatement departure procedure

The use of the noise abatement take-off and climb procedure NADP 1 is recommended for all jet aircraft departures.

Climb with max climb gradient to 3000′:

  • Use the high lift devices take-off configuration
  • Take-off power reduction to climb power at 1500′
Engine Out Departure Procedure

In all cases: inform ATC and land asap.

Miscellaneous

  • Do not mistake Hamburg Finkenwerder when approaching RWY 05!
  • Do not cross checkpoints without clearance!
  • Special aircrew and aircraft certification required for CAT II/ III operations
  • Reverse thrust other than idle thrust shall only used to an extent necessary for safety reasons
  • ACFT shall shut down APU directly after arriving at the stand and shall remain turned off for the whole time at the stand. APU may only be turned on 8min on pier position or 5min on remote stand before the latest possible time to leave the stand
  • Permission for push-back or taxiing from a position may only be requested if pilot can perform the maneuver immediately
  • In case of radio comm failure, proceed to LBV VOR
  • Attend Hot Spots on charts 10-9A
