    Noise abatement departure procedure

Published SIDs are also minimum noise routings. Strict adherence is compulsory within the limits of aircraft performance!

    Engine Out Departure Procedure

In all cases: inform ATC and land asap.

Because of airspace structure and parallel runway operations, EOD-procedures are recommended to fly as published missed approach procedures for ILS approaches.

At D3.4 BBI, LT track 339°, climbing to max 5000′ and intercept R-280 FWE to OGBER and enter holding.

Intercept and follow R-297 BBI to OGBER, continue climb to 5000′ and enter holding at OGBER.

At D2.7 BBI, RT on R-000 KLF inbound to KLF VOR, climb to 4000′, enter holding at KLF.

At D2.2 SDD (D0.6east of BBI), LT with max 190kts on R-341 inbound KLF VOR, climbt to 4000′, enter holding.

    Miscellaneous

    • Special aircrew and aircraft certification required for CAT II/ III operations
    • Old SXF airport is now decleared as BER Terminal 5
    • Reverse thrust is only permitted of required for flight safety, except idle reverse thrust
    • Taxi clearances to parking positions may be issued for segments. Frequency may only be changed from Ground to Apron when pilots have been instructed
    • Follow-me vehicle mandatory on all taxiways north of TWY G for ACFT of code D or longer. Oversteering technique shall be used when turning
For all questions relating to EDDB operations, feel free to contact our Area Management.
Because we are non-profit free time based operation, we cannot guarantee that all airports are up to date as soon as changes occur. If you noticed changes, please inform us so that we can update these information asap.
