    Noise abatement departure procedure

      Special NADP established at EBBR! Turbojet aircraft have to apply the following procedure: Take-off to 1700′:

    • Take-off power
    • Take-off flaps
    • Climb at V2 + 10 to 20kts or as limited by body angle

    At 1700′:

    • Take-off power
    • Climb at MAX gradient compatible with safety
    • Speed not less than single engine climb speed, nor higher that best rate of climb speed

    At 3200′:

    • Accelerate smoothly to enroute climb speed

      Prop aircraft have to apply the following procedure: Take-off to 1700′:

    • Take-off power
    • Climb at MAX gradient compatible with safety
    • Speed not less than single engine climb speed, nor hogher that best rate of climb speed

    At 1700′:

    • Reduce thrust power to MAX normal operating power (if this power has been used for showing complieance with noise certification requirements) or to MAX climb power

    From 1700′ to 3200′:

    • Climb at MAX gradients with reduced power, maintaining constant speed

    At 3200′:

    • Accelerate smoothly to enroute climb spee

    Miscellaneous

    • Special aircrew and aircraft certification required for CAT II/ III operations
    • Reverse thrust other than idle thrust shall not to be used except safety reasons
    • Between 2300 – 0559LT only 4 aircraft are permitted to taxi at the same time, additionally only 3 aircraft will be allowed to await take-off clearance
    • Use of APU restricted to max 5min after docking and 15min prior ETD. Otherwise GPU or 400Hz should be used
